Get to know Dionne Brown
My name is Dionne Brown and I am the founder and Chief Experience Advisor of DCB Travel Experience.
I've been passionate about travel since I was young, thanks to my favorite aunt, who frequently traveled the world. My aunt regularly immersed herself in different cultures and experiences, and in 2012, we set out on my first international trip, exploring Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji together. After setting off on the trip of a lifetime, I quickly fell in love with seeing the world, but my experience made me realize just how important proper planning is, especially when it comes to having a stress-free trip.
Though my aunt and I had a wonderful time together, our trip was by no means perfect. Instead of a relaxing experience where we had ample time to see the sights on our own terms, we often felt rushed from place to place and didn't get to spend as much time exploring landmarks as we wanted. We also racked up unexpected expenses that could have been avoided with the right research. While the experience didn't discourage me from traveling, it certainly made me think about how my trip could have been improved. And after filling my passport with stamps from international locales, I began to think about how others should be able to do the same.
In 2019, I founded DCB Travel Experience so that I could help others travel the globe, experience different cultures, and check off the items on their bucket list — all without having to research and plan the excursions themselves.
